A SPECIAL DAY FOR SPECIAL KIDS: ALL-INCLUSIVE PARK OPENS

(Ed.s Note: The Cameron County Parks and Recreation along with Pct. 2 Commissioner Alex Dominguez and other county elected officials officially opened the county's first all-inclusive park near the Cameron Park Community Center.

Designed with the needs of disabled children so they can fully participate with other children, it is being heralded as the departments first all-inclusive park by department director Joe Vega.

During his remarks, Dominguez said that providing access to disabled and special children and including them in activities which don;t make them feel left out contributes to their social and personal development development and self-esteem. Vega says he hopes the park is the first of others to be built by the county.)

Whites think they are too good to mingle with other race and blacks well there aren't too many of them down here. It's a white thing...
