ANOTHER BUSY WEEK AT EL RRUN-RRUN, ALMOST 8 READERS

(Ed/'s Note: Whether it was a wayward state rep, a school district out of control, the reminisces of  folks on Mexican Mother's Day, the aftermath of Cinco de Mayo, it's been busy. And Mother's Day USA is just around the corner as is early voting on  Monday.

We thank out seven readers going on eight (click on graphic to enlarge and see weekly numbers) for your contributions to our coverage of the various entities. Without you we could not to hope to know the goings around the county. Texas Southmost College and UTRGV have a bumper crop of graduates tomorrow and we congratulate them and their families for their efforts to overcome the many adversities to get an education.

This might be an exercise in futility, but we wish some of our commenters to utilize a bit more civility toward others. But as we said, we can only wish. Onward through the fog.)
