Special to El Rrun-Rrun
Mexico can thank South Korea for advancing to the World Cup round of 16. Mexico lost to Sweden by an embarrassing 3-0 score and was about to be eliminated from further play when fans learned that S. Korea, whom Mexico had beaten by a 2-1 score in their previous game, beat Germany by a 2-0 score.
Ironically, Mexico had beaten Germany 1-0 in their first game in Group F.
In the photo above sent to us by a Photoshop maven, a South Korean player scores against the German goalkeeper and kicks Mexico into the next round.
We'd thank Korea, but the meme below is probably what Korean fans would say.
Now for the bad news: Mexico meets the winner of Group E next: Brazil.
Her'a another meme sent to us by grateful Mexican fans depicting a Korean saving Mexico and leaving Germany to burn.

Amateurish, bro!
So the Simpsons were wrong? Maybe Portugal will go to the final but not Mexico if they play against Brazil.
WHO CARES?
I just wish that all the folks celebrating Mexico's soccer team, would wave the flag of the country in which they live, the Stars and Stripes, with the same fervor that they were waving the Mexican flag yesterday. We see that all to often, people who come to the U.S. for economic benefits, many of whom are on the American taxpayer's dole, have little or no respect for our flag and our nation. This celebration was here, yesterday, and I am sure there are other foreign national groups who also wave their flags instead of the U.S. flag.
The United Nations in NY waves flags from all over the world - why don't you go and do you picketing over there.
Adios Amigo (read out loud with a gringo accent-- Add-ee-yos Am-ee-gow!)
Why don't you complain about the irish parade in NYC or when a local pub celebrates their heritage the gay parades and others. PUTO NO MAS LA DE LOS MEXICANOS TE CABE PENDEJO...
Long live Dagoberto Barrera! Sick 'em, Dago! Send them and their kids back!
Include his wife... convoluted assh...
A lost is a lost is a lost... Go drink your tequila (preferably a Don Julio) at Matias.
