I have lived in Brownsville 73 of my 76 years and I have only seem grown in numbers and standard of living. Certainly those who don't have either education or language skills have a tough time, but whose fault is that?
There is nothing going on now that with illegal aliens that has not been going on for several generations. You cross the river and get caught you get booted out. If you bring your kids with you, out they go as well.
This is a very good time to be in America for those that were born her or came here legally. There are more jobs that people to fill them. Sure folks might have to go where the work is, but that is the way things have always been. Of course if you can't pass through the Sarita checkpoint, that is a problem.
The cartoon of course gets it wrong, the Berlin Wall was built to prevent the Socialist_Communist from escaping, the Southern Border Wall is to prevent illegals from invading the United States.
Most of the noise on the left would probably like the US to be more like the Socialist_Communist East Germany any way.

Ask the people in Bluetown or Santa Maria what they think of all the people crossing. I don't believe there are many living there with the last name of Smith or Jones. Oh yea a border patrolman on his day off fishing with his kids who was not named Smith or Jones killed by who? Not a Smith or Jones!
Go north pendejo and you will find a lot of Smith and Jones being killed by who Smith and Jones.
