With former Brownsville Independent School District trustee Luci Longoria withdrawing from Position 2, there are only three others, including incumbent Carlos Elizondo, in that race.
The others are Erasmo Castro and Herman Oris Powers, another former BISD member. But with Elizondo having an albatross of 1 felony charges of theft and breaching security of the city's emergency services computers, it may be a two-person race.
Many thought Longoria filed just to see who would switch positions when they fund out who else was running.

don't know much about what Dr. Z has done for the district. She has done more for our kids than all the rest of the supers have even tried together.
