WIGHTMAN: "I WON! I WON!" AND BARTON WAS IN COURTROOM

(Ed.'s Note: This is getting tedious. The above denial in the current legal spiral arising from OP 10.33 founder Mike Hernandez's lawsuit for defamation against local blogger (and disbarred lawyer) Robert Wightman is rolling along as expected, with BV's legal guru attempting every stratagem to keep the case from going back to the trial court and being argued on the merits.

That's the last thing Wightman wants. This time Wightman wanted the appeals court not to send the case back to the trial court pending his attempt to get the U.S. Supreme Court to order the lower court to deliver its record in a case so that the higher court may review it. 

That would allow him to buy more time and delay the inevitable. But of course, us mere mortals don't know Wightman's Grand Plan where the plaintiff is falling right into his trap. Yeah, that's the ticket. He'll tell you that he filed this with the knowledge it would be denied, but it's all part of Da Plan, man.

Now he is going to include the judges and end their careers, he says. Ok.

Most plaintiffs would tire and non-suit just to stop the legal farce that will cost time and money. All Wightman needs is a word processor to stay in business and continue his legal malingering. He might find out that Hernandez will not be one of his - or helpless - victims. We remember when Wightman was offering his services to the Dallas car-leasing magnate online and found no takers. Now, like a woman scorned, he is trying to exact his revenge for being spurned.

The drama never ends with this guy. We're sure we'll read again how denials like the one above are actually victories that only he can understand. And no, despite REPEATING IT IN CAPS THREE TIMES, Jim Barton wasn't in the courtroom.
