(Ed.'s Note: Turnout was heavy this morning at the Brownsville Central Library and the voters- as well as the supporters of the various candidates for the many races at the state, county and local levels -were out braving the elements as were voters at the Central Library in Brownsville. This elections will determine everything from a state senator, a county judge and the members of the Brownsville Independent School District, among others, including judicial races.

i left and went to BCHC on price RD. line was alot shorter but the 4 people working were so incompetant and slow. wish i would of stayed in line at the library. 4 people in front of me at clinic and i was there for 30 minutes!
I was there at 9:30 am. By the time I exited the building, the line was so long that it turned around the entrance from Central.
What I like was that I really saw A LOT of young people (18 to 25).
I only voted for one well known local Republican. I voted for the person, NOT the party.
Locally, I voted for ANYONE running against the current BISD board.
If they are the worse, superlative can only be WORST and I am hoping at least one is better.
I hope the second day is better, lines are longer (great voter turn out)and the voting office gets MORE PERSONNEL and better organized.
The person represent the party
