Earlier today, Hanna Early College High School principal Blanca Lambarri’s hopes to see her band perform at the U.I.L State Marching Band Contest fell flat. In fact, they blew up under her.
Before reaching the U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint at Sarita, the principal’s back tire went flat. Replacing the tire, the spare tire also blew to pieces, anchoring the principal to the side of the highway with her family.
Per our sources, no progress has occurred as of yet, leaving Lambarri and her family cheering for the Hanna Golden Eagle Marching Band 155 miles away. Where's Triple A when you need it?

She always there for her student’s events. ❤️ I miss her as my kids principal at Champion. I hope she makes it.

Think about subscribing to the ON STAR emergency program in GM cars. I have found it a blessing on two occasions since I first bought it in my Cadillac and have kept it in all my GM vehicles. They are prompt with great service, Blanca. Hope all went well and that you were able to make it to SA on time to watch your students perform.

She made it in time to watch us perform. Even waited outside to congratulate us all after we came out from our performance. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another principal follow us all the way to state to support us before.

Does any body know the total amount of monies spent on three months vacation pay by BISD is costing the tax payer??? Lost working hours wages - no work done.
Can the city give their employees three (3) months off with pay? How about the county, the port, MUD's, how about the fed's?
What are you talking about? High school principals don’t get anywhere near 3 months off??? They get 9 days off in the summer. That’s it. Even regular employees of BISD don’t get paid in the summer, the only way they do is if they choose to take the salary they get paid over 9 months, add it up and divide it by 12 so they get paid less each month. Where tf are you getting your info? Or are you just guessing and assuming to fit your own rhetoric??
