(Ed.'s Note: Our monolingual friends (or it it bilingually-challenged?) friends will probably not grasp the meaning of the admonition in Spanish in a man's bathroom at one of the local Brownsville dives. The owner – apparently an exasperated soul – is pleading for the patrons of the joint to make sure they aim inside the toilet bowl when they use it and to throw the toilet paper in a trash can next to the bowl.
It is hilarious that someone had to actually make a sign to scold basic toilet training violators, though isn't it? We don't know where the sign is at, and maybe we don't need to know. Anyway, it's funny as, well, you know what.)

I have the same message on the wall above the toilet in my hallway. Nobody seems to pay heed. The pigs still miss the bowl. WTF??? Why should I have clean up after them???
No straight shooters here
People here treat the toilet the way they treat their own toilets. The mess is a reflection of our local culture. We live in a Third World down here. But, it is better to be poor and pissing on the floors and walls here than to be poor and pissing on the ground in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador or some African nations. Immigrants and illegals bring their cultures with them and often trash our community and facilities the way they did in their countries of origin.
