Mr. Bojangles - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

I knew a man, Bojangles and he danced for you
In worn out shoes
Silver hair, a ragged shirt and baggy pants
The old soft shoe
He jumped so high
He jumped so high
Then he'd lightly touch down
I met him in a cell in New Orleans, I was
Down and out
He looked to me to be the eyes of age
As he spoke right out
He talked of life
He talked of life
He laughed, clicked his heels and stepped
He said his name, Bojangles and he danced a lick
Across the cell
He grabbed his pants, a better stance
Oh, he jumped so high
Then he clicked his heels
He let go a laugh
He let go a laugh
Pushed back his clothes all around
Mr. Bojangles
Mr. Bojangles
Mr. Bojangles
Dance
He danced for those in minstrel shows and county fairs
Throughout the south
He spoke with tears of fifteen years how his dog and him
Traveled about
The dog up and died
He up and died
After twenty years he still grieves
He said I dance now at every chance in honky tonks
For drinks and tips
But most the time I spend behind these county bars
He said I drinks a bit
He shook his head
And as he shook his head
I heard someone ask him please
Please
Mr. Bojangles
Mr. Bojangles
Mr. Bojangles
Dance

During the Christmas holidays, our grandson had the misfortune of falling and hurting himself. Since my son lives out of state, we took the boy to the new 24/7 Emergency on Alton Gloor. For an X-ray, seeing the doctor, and a cloth brace the insurance company was billed for $8,500. They charged $1,000 for the room that we sat in (we could have waited as well in the waiting room). They charged $1,500 for a brace that can be bought for less than $20 on Amazon. This is an example of simple fraud and I hope the insurance company investigates. All charges were in even numbers and no change, and not of the prices were listed by a treatment number. This kind of billing should be investigated. We and our insurance companies are being screwed.
Bill "Mr. Bojangles" Robinson a black man not a hillbillie wino, but a professional tap dancer.
On May 25, 1878, Bill Robinson, who would become "Mr Bojangles" was born. That is why today May 25, 2010 is National Tap Dancing Day.

O man that guy looks like the San Bene mayor.
In reality he's from mcallen
He misses mcallen and wants to return, more than glad to put him in a metro and sent him back, to be with his good buddies the cocos - wanna be whites. I understand he was a tourist attraction over at the plaza.
Top notch entertainment at la plaza
