BROWNSVILLE - We have received the sad news that Arturo McDonald, Sr., longtime Brownsville educator and father of County Court=At-Law Judge Arturo McDonald Jr. passed away today.
We send our condolences to his family and to Art Jr. He was a good man and a good friend. RIP and may Peace Be With Him.

Mr. McDonald was a great Principal in Villa Nueva back in the day and was always impressed with his professionalism and his caring for his students. May he RIP and my sincere condolences to his family.
Art McDonald was a great man, I knew him for years, I Joe Barguiarena offer my and my families condolences..Que con dios descanse.
