SUNRISE MALL CHASE AND BUST: IT WAS A DRUGS






















(Ed.'s Note: Shoppers were surprised to come upon a raid on a Sunrise Mall store and a white pickup where they confiscated several packages was a drug bust where bricks of drugs and firearms were confiscated.

Two accused drug smugglers are in custody following the car chase and involved the Border Patrol.

The driver crashed into a Palm Tree near the Brownsville mall Wednesday afternoon.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson says the driver led Border Patrol agents on a chase after they tried to stop the truck.

Agents say they seized several bundles of marijuana.Border Patrol, the DEA and Brownsville Police Department were involved in the  chase and arrest.)

that picture is of a vehicle in a border patrol pursuit. vehicle was full of big bricks of drugs and driver had a gun

Hey I heard from a friend that Cameron county jails medical care is being sold to a private company that has bad medical coverage and had multiple claims of negligence. Is that the case? Do you happen to know more on this topic?

It doesn't matter what kind of medical care they have if the inmates are being brutalize. Maybe they need a med co that will keep quiet!
