Weren't these the Democrats that didn't recognize the election that the Republican (Lincoln) won? These are the Democrats that hated the Republican (Lincoln) that won the election. They didn't recognize the election and hated him so much that our country went to war over it. And after Lincoln won the war then the Democrats even hated him more that they shot him. Of course history tells us Lincoln is one of our country's greatest Presidents. He united our country and made America great again. Oh and by the way, Lincoln didn't win the popular vote but he did win the electoral college.

These guys set up at Veteran's park after the march and set out all their Stars and Bars regalia beneath a shade tarp. They were giving out free water like the rest of the groups that set up for the Memorial Day services. This is America and they have the right to set up and spew their hate. What was beautiful was that in the hour and a half that I watched their tent, not one person stopped to avail themselves of their water or talk to them. It was just the four guys all by themselves with their sour pouts on their faces. I am proud how the Brownsville citizens chose to express themselves as well that Memorial Day morning. We are not forgetting history and we never should, it's the glorification of hate and bigotry that is the problem.
