EARLY VOTING IN RUNOFFS HIGHER THAN MAY 4 TOTALS

June 22 City of Brownsville Elections

May 4 City Elections Early voting

(Ed.'s Note: The prevailing wisdom says that turnout in runoff elections usually lag 40 to 50 percent behind the initial turnout. This rule of thumb is not holding in the City of Brownsville commission runoff elections. So far, 2,327 votes had cast their ballots in the first two days of the eight-day early voting period. In May, only 2,028 had voted in the first two days, an increase this period of some 299 votes, a 14.7 increase. Will the increase continue? Candidates sure hope so.)

I voted today.
My vote was Cowen and Mendez.
I have friends that live on Southmost; they voted for Galonsky, Mendez and Cowen. MOVE BROWNSVILLE FORWARD.
NO LINE at the clinic on price road.

Those 3 think themselves the elistist of brownsville so don't expect any improvements to the local citizens they are running to help the rich get richer NOTHING ELSE!!!!

I voted for Mendez and hopefully he wins. Cabler is a crook and never anything for city employees, other than a stupid birthday card everyone received late. Trey will move Brownsville forward and fix what Cabler/Martinez neglected to do for brownsville.

Yesterday I cast my vote for Cabler and Puente, too bad I couldn't vote for Longoria. Hopefully, these three will be elected. As a team, I'm sure that they will work tirelessly for the betterment of the citizens of Brownsville.

I agree, Cabler, Puente and Longoroa all way.

I agree Cabler will be the perfect mayor for Brownsville...we can't changed our history pattern and get someone who will do good for Brownsville. We deserve someone like Cabler and Martinez. I can't wait for him to win and do more damage to our city. Hopefully, he will not be lazy and will be more greedier than Martinez.

You think trump is bad if this wanna be white coco wins we'll be in a hell of a mess NO MORE ATTORNEYS

This coco caters to the rich and famous not to the average citizen remember that!

Cabler all the way, we need a full time Mayor not someone who will show up every two weeks for meetings. Cabler doesn't need to worry about running a private business and if elected, will focus 100% of his time to provide much needed municipal services.
