FULL MOON POSTCARD FOR 2019 FATHER'S DAY DOWNTOWN

(Ed.'s Note: We wish we could take credit for taking this classic photo of the full moon emerging from the mist Saturday night over Brownsville's Historic Market Square, but as usual, it was sent to us by one of our seven readers. Usually we don't know who our contributors are but this time we can tell you with certainty that it was owner and mixologist of The Library at La Rioja in historic downtown Brownsville Dacey Garza. That's her bar at the right hand of the photo. Our thanks for a great photo.)

Beautiful picture - if one things were that pretty in all of Brownsville.
Now, take a picture of all the pothole streets in Brownsville with the sun setting at the end of the caliche road they have been trying to fix for so long - Roosevelt St. If Rick Longoria loses, he can go around taking pictures of all the pot hole streets in Southmost and give them to Nurith so she can get to work and do what he didn't do for 14 years. But, I won't believe it until I see it. All politicians are good talkers.

Lol at 1:40am

The state re-pave all the service roads in a few days that's about 60 miles. Now the city has 3 engineers and its taken the city a YEAR to pave rooselelt st and they haven't finish YET. I thought 14th street was the precint one border line but I could be wrong.
