A Santa Rosa community meeting was held Wednesday regarding Western Cameron County flooding.The meeting was held on private property and media teams had to leave when asked.
Residents asked Judge Eddie Treviño and Commissioner Gus Ruiz about the county's plans for flood restoration and prevention. Residents said they were asked to put their phones away and not record. Some residents say the county is not feeling the urgency to take immediate action to help.
When the questions got heated, in a surreptitious recording of diplomat extraordinaire Treviño he could be heard shouting at the crowd:
"Tell us how we're going to fix it. Tell us how we're going to fix it. I don't know anything about it...Do you want help or do you just want to bitch, you just want to to complain?...."
We asked Commissioner Ruiz if he requested the media not be present during the meeting
"It's not our meeting," he said.

Was Gus Ruiz there as City Attorney for Santa Rosa or as County Commissioner. Oh has Santa Rosa paid for the road work from years ago?
This is th first time water flooded inside homes in Sebastian.
That is no way for a county public official to talk to constituents unless they're pendejos like the ones that come on here to complain without offering viable solutions.

for 10.56 am, no roads are not flooded, they are open but some areas to the east side of fm 506 are still under water, the old dried up lakebed know as tio cano lake much of it is till under water as of today, house with water too.
Judge did what he had to do just ask out president, he talks to the media like that all the time. The next thing we need to worry about is how are we going to solve those peoples problems.
Was the meeting posted 72 hours before it took place? If it was, it was their meeting otherwise it was illegal without posting.

Why should the constituents be the ones that offer the solutions to the flood problems? I get it that Trevino does not know the solution, he's a lawyer, but insulting the people that voted for him by telling them to "stop bitching"?
He should have just listened to them, and gone to the media and let everyone know that he will take care of the problem, hire a consultant or a company with public infrastructure experience that will really offer a viable solution to the flood problem, then raise funds (FEMA grants etc..) and fix the damn flood problem. Everyone is happy, the flood problem is gone. All those people can be reminded who fix the problem when elections come around. Result = another term for Trevino as county judge.

At 8:05am....If there was something illegal happening at that meeting it's guarenteed that's why a Pct. 3 Constable was there. They are as corrupt as their Constable Adrian Gonzalez! Not to mention Gonzalez has to get knee pad replacements every week for the amount of ass he kisses! Especially Eddie Trevino's! So what do expect!! You can not order the media or tell people to put their phones away so they can not record you idiots! The only reason why this was done was to make sure nobody recorded anything that was going to make them look bad! But in the end that backfired bug time! The Pct 3 department only sit around and eat cake at the office they dont do any actual police work. Someone should audit them and see if they are even needed if not just remove the entire agency and save the tax payers money. So far the only thing they do is follow Guz Ruiz around at events and be personal body guards.
