There was a Main Street Shootout in Progresso several years ago. There have been numerous shootouts in Matamoros.

If the church had depending on calling 911, the bodies would be stacked up by the dozens. A patrol unit would respond and then more patrol units and a commander. They would establish a perimeter, evacuate the neighbors and wait for the SWAT unit to arrive.
Thanks to the church having good sense, to allowed armed members inside it took all of six seconds to put the creep down.

Thank God for the License to Carry! Its too bad that this is the world we live in right now! The very dead shooter had been at the church for handouts BUT would get angry when the church wouldn't give him cash? Was that the motive for the shooting? You know, an armed security force of retired veterans or LEO could quite possibly prevent "shootings" in our schools!
