Early in the morning on January 20th, Anna woke to a smoke filled room. Her immediate thought was of her three children, who are special needs and very reliant on their mother as they are so young. Though she was unable to get to them as the flames blazed and smoke inhalation was already severe, all made it out alive and well, and Anna was able to escape by breaking a window with her bare hands in desperation to find another way to her children.
Within minutes Anna lost everything from photos to identification, toys and amenities, a phone, and all else but the pajamas she wore to sleep the night before. She owned her home, but in dealing with many challenges life threw at her young family, her homeowners insurance lapsed.
We are raising money to assist this single mother, who is an amazing woman and member of the community, in starting over with a focus on immediate concerns and necessities in mind.

And yes, the Republican Party Chair is being the biggest help along with a few members.

Anna is a beautiful soul who helps her community. May those whose lives she has touched return the favor. Praying for them.
