(Ed.'s Note: After causing a brouhaha when Texas House of Representatives District 38 incumbent Eddie Lucio III supporters tried to block challenger Erin Gamez's lighted signs in front of Veterans Park with large hand-held campaign signs, it took a stiff wind today to bring it down.
The wind apparently caught the large letters at just the right angle to knock them down. We don't know ehther the campaign will repair it and stand up the letters again, but we'll knowA local pundit pointed out that even down, the remaining letter are till sublimely asking voters to vote for eringaMEz (ME). )
And sure enough, this Tuesday, workers were putting up the Gamez sign. Let the games continue!

First of all, typical democRATS who support a crook like Lucio!
Second, then you have Omar Lucio who enters Las Vegas Cafe in Harlingen and of course shaking hands with other patrons. Lucio gives his name to Julie who is one of the owners. Then a lady mistaken Omar Lucio for Eddie Lucio and when he corrects her, she comments "there's too many Lucio' running." Luico would step out of the restaurant to wait. If you've been to Las Vegas any time, you know that you have to wait for a table especially during lunch time, any day. Then, gus "wanna be sheriff & former alcohol/drug user walks inside and asks Julie how much longer. Julie tells him that they'd have to wait like all other patrons. Gus tells her, you do know that it is Omar Lucio? Julie replies, I know but he still has to wait. Gus in his "soy chingon voice," take us off the list and we'll go somewhere else. Julie tells him okay, like who cares! Anyway that is Omar Lucio' second hand man who has no social skills and thinks he's the man in CC.
The bad part about this is that WE the CC voters have no real choice in voting for sheriff. So, the worse of the four evils is our choice.
I have to go with Omar because he's already the incumbent and I just got to wish that he doesn't leave before his term and that gus reyna becomes interim sheriff?

Thanks to the Gamez Brownsville has a mall. And he told THEM there to build. Gamez Will make Brownsville have more Jobs, family health clinics, parks, bring back sumner programs for kids of all áreas. State funded.

I'm Not saying the Lucio's are good but I'll take them anytime over Erin's father.ERNESTO"NETO"GAMEZ. have any of you thought how much Erin would do for our city when she will have her father running the whole show. He has always had his hooks on so many politicians for his own benefit, and now he will have more control if his daughter gets elected.SAY NOOOOOOO TO NETO GAMEZ.
I doubt Gamez will campaign at funerals and rosaries like Lucio Sr. does, despicable, vote them out!!!
