To anon. at 8:51 AM. Looks like our resident trumpanzee has spoken. Winter Texas from Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio and wherever, beer guts and all, have much more class, verdad? Overweight women with rinsed out faded and teased blond hair a real turn on.

The best part was seeing Executive Director of Charro Days, Rosendo Escarino tell Sheriff Omar Lucio to stop shaking hands with people and get back in his vehicle because he was holding back the parade. Literally went and grabbed him from the crowd and escorted him back to his vehicle.
Bands were being told to march faster, cars to drive faster...

The other 364 days nobody goes downtown and/or remembers that they have Mexican heritage. Only when it's time to eat tacos, tortas and all the junk food that you can find.

The fat gringos making fun of stupid meskins go ahead and continue serving them. Y esa cantina making tons of feria go ahead and cater to them so they can continue to laugh at you idiotas.

Notice the empty spaces alongside the parade route? I can remember when the streets were packed 3 or 4 lines back from the curb and even people on top of the building watching beautiful parades. Everyone knew each other and had good times catching up with each other. Now you look around and do not recognize anyone around you. It is a shame that human beings do not have the values that we were taught by our parents - traditions, customs, beliefs, friends, and respect for each other. And, it does not seem to be getting any better.

Drunks galore on Central Blvd last night and the cops? Eating donuts behind (hiding) the gas station on four corners.
Time to bring on the motorcycle gang or they can't work the night shift because they have a contract!!!
