The biggest worry is that the US still lacks a road map. The federal government has only a weak grasp on how many Americans are infected with Covid-19, a clear measure of the mortality rate, and therefore the extent of immunity in the country. Without more tests, the US is travelling blind. Just 1 per cent of the country, 3.2m people, have been tested so far. In early March, Mike Pence, the vice-president, promised 4m tests within a week. The same day, President Donald Trump said anybody in the US who wanted a test could get one. That remains as untrue today as it was then.
The stubborn fact is that the US is not churning out enough kits. The average number of daily tests has been stuck at 140,000 for the past two weeks. That is far below the level that scientists say is required to gauge the pandemic’s reach. Some say the US should be testing 10 times that number to understand the spread of the disease. Others want half-a-million a day. Either way, testing has hit a very low plateau, which is a metric of negligence. Without a grasp of the facts, the US will not find its way out.

Like it been said before, our local government in Texas is the one show monkey, who is controlling our lives and economic. On April 23, 2020 Gov. Gregg Abbott announced that Texas Health and Human Services Commission WILL RECEIVE nearly $54 MILLION FEDERAL dollars to SUPPORT OLDER (ELDERLY) 65 years and older Texans and also people with disabilities during the COVID-19 response. This is called the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Act, (CARES) ACT. Lets see where these corrupted minded so called leader are really going to use these monies appropriated specially for the EDERLY. Wanting to bet that they will use the monies elsewhere. Remember it was a Texas Lt. governor, who announce on National TV that our elderly community should be sacrificed for our economy. Check the Catholic Church coming out of shelter to participate in Federal Monies. Check it out what is really premeditation planning for this elderly provision by our local political leaders, Funding will ALSO be used for the long term CARE OMBUDSMAN, which provides advocacy and complaint resolution services on behalf of residents in long term care facilities. These victims or so called residence in these long term facilities are already getting meals, and chores (what chores can a residence with long term care do in a nursing facility need?) It also makes provisions for assistance with groceries and household chores. What household chores can a Long Term Resident need done in a nursing home? These elderly abused already are being treated by shared staff with contamination from other facilities. Jesus please protect these innocent victims. May the True God be with these soles and their loved ones during this corrupt and pandemic crisis. Please care givers for these love ones sake Check This CARES ACT that just was signed by Gregg Abbott on April 23,2020.

The president meant it as self-congratulation; he’d been shown a projected American death toll as high as 2.2 million. But in China, the statement landed very differently. On Weibo, the country’s equivalent of Twitter, Trump’s declaration sounded like an astonishing statement of defeat by China’s major geopolitical rival.
“Trump says reducing death toll to 100,000 people is ‘not bad’” quickly became a top trending hashtag. Commenters on Weibo called the Rose Garden appearance “preparation for a funeral,” labeled Trump a “joker” and a “blowhard,” and sarcastically predicted, “I’m sure God will protect the United States.” If a similar death toll had been reported in China, one popular comment speculated, “how many people here would be saying that [we are] a dying country?” Another noted, bluntly: “[F]rom here onward, the world order will never be the same.”
