Special to El Rrun-Rrun
It was 1976 when the board of the Mr. Amigo Association attended their annual junket to Mexico City to extend their invitation to a deserving Mexican citizen who had demonstrated goodwill and friendship between Mexico and the United States.
In that year, they chose composer and singer Armando Manzanero, of "Adoro," "Somos Novios, (It's Impossible,") and "Sin Ti," and "Esta Tarde Vi Llover," fame .
When Perry Como recorded “It’s Impossible,” it became his first song to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 in more than 12 years.
"It's Impossible" received a 1971 Grammy nomination for song of the year, while Como's album of the same name was nominated for best pop vocal performance, male.
“It’s Impossible” was also recorded by Elvis Presley, Andy Williams, Shriley Bassey and Andre Bocelli, among many others. In Spanish, “Somos Novios” remains one of the most covered Spanish language songs of all time.Manzanero died at the age of 85, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said Monday.
Manzanero was hospitalized in recent weeks with COVID-19 and at one point was on a ventilator.
Given the fact that the MAA brought him here and made over the singer, we wonder why there has not been a note of remembrance by the organization on their website or or even a simple recognition of one of their most popular Mr. Amigo.
How soon we forget our Amigos, hey?

It's "How soon we forget our Amigos, eh?"
Your English is atrocious, Monotoya.
Many Americans were surprised when it became clear that Trump had done better than expected among Latinos. In places such as South Florida and South Texas, he did much better, but all across the country Trump won a greater share of the Latino vote than he did four years ago. He made marked improvements in Democratic cities such as Houston, Las Vegas, and Philadelphia, and even in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, which were not the focus of the Trump campaign’s spending on Latino outreach. The shift toward Trump has given Latino Republicans confidence that Latino conservatism is on the rise and will continue to grow.
Latino advocates on the Democratic side, meanwhile, seem reluctant to talk about the shift. Some have downplayed its significance and expressed frustration that it has received so much media attention, as if Trump actually won the Latino vote. Rather than dwelling on Trump’s gains, Latino Democrats would have us focus on the fact that a surge of Latinos turning out to vote helped Joe Biden win critical swing states such as Arizona, even though Trump improved his performance among Latino voters there, too.
Son pendejos (a new song) that's why, simple...

Latinos that voted for Trump liked what he represented: not helping illegal aliens, destroying the DREAMERS, not giving a chance to new immigrants, helping the Rich, ...
Latinos (Spaniards, Mexicans, Venezuelans, Central Americans) loved his authoritarian, corruption and abusive persona. They were attracted to Trump's potential to become a dictator.
Latinos are used to seeing the difference between the powerful and the unfortunate, between the rich and the poor.
Da Blimp made the correction! He can be taught!!!
He had spelled "insight" as "incite," perhaps because that's all he knows.

This is a blog idiota embecil nothing formal estupido!!!
Charro fiasco is all about money NOTHING ELSE and of course everything they need should be free from the poorest city in the nation...
Trump is, in fact, the worse by itemizing his failures.
Well, a historian has to always account for the possibility that 50 years later, a president would look better in some ways than he did to his own generation. That having been said, Donald Trump is not going to change the record. He was largely responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans who did not need to die, millions of others who suffered from COVID who did not need to suffer, and economic calamity that is afflicting people tonight in a way that is not going to be alleviated by six hundred dollars or two thousand dollars, while the president sits in Palm Beach and the vice president sits in Vail on a ski slope, and the secretary of the treasury is in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. This is really Nero's fiddling while Rome burns.
Enough said.
I want Tito!!
You love trumputo like your mommmy guey(es).

Puras pendejadas by a pendejo...
It's sad that in the past NO ONE in the Mr.Amigo Association is interested in send in anything to the family of former Mr.Amigos.
When Mr.Amigo Juan Gabriel Passed away we try to ask the President to cooperate for the arrangement of flowers and to pay for freight services of a letter of condolences to his family.
The Board and his President say NO. Leo Maldonado and his Wife Liz Maldonado were the first ones to oppose citing that the Association doesn't have money for that expense.
When Jose Jose the same story. This time Arturo Trevino, and his compadre Eliseo Davila opposed.
Lucky like before with Juan Gabriel and Jose Jose we were able to send in condolences to Mr.Manzanero Family.
With the help of the Mexican Foreign Affairs Office.
Leo Maldonado this was your Mr.Amigo and you didn't do anything? Oh, I forgot no alcohol is involved that's why you and your wife didn't care. But you and your Wife "si es de CORBA si" Primera fila para todo, and you even demand free tickets.
what a shame Mr.Amigo Association. you all have money pa" mamarse for one week. But you don't have money to send not even a condolence note.
