I saw throughout the country elected officials/ leaders were getting the vaccine.
I don't have a problem with it....
Also, it's funny...most people are "no, i'll wait" until someone they don't respect gets it...then it shifts to "wait, why them?"

Sen. Lucio really should explain why he’s getting the vaccine. He’s on the state vaccine allocation panel, which recommended that healthcare workers should be first in line to get the vaccine as part of Phase 1a.

Unless I’m missing something, he shouldn’t be getting the vaccine yet. There’s a lot of other senior citizens in the RGV that are waiting for the vaccine too. Again, maybe there’s a valid explanation but I haven’t seen it yet.
Eddie Lucio must of already given one to Sylvia Atkinson. Sylvia was seen posting she got the vaccine and then deleted post after Eddie Lucio got called out. Los Lucio Sucios have their hands in every thing and it ain't to take care of the people of the poorest city. They live off the poor stupid people in the valley that keep voting for the Lucio Senior and the Lucio son. Wake up Brownsville, estos vatos son mamones.
Leaders are setting the example and getting the vaccine - to encourage others to do so without fear in the coming months.
Again I will say the people are sheep, public officials run the show, when it is the other way around, only when sheep become lions. Republican Democrat makes no difference you are sheep to them.
Lucio claims that the provider reached out to him and told him that for reasons that seem unclear, the vaccine would soon not be usable and invited him over so it would not be wasted. So, I guess in his mind he made a sacrifice of some kind and had the shot or, at least that is what he would like was to think. In reality, if the hospital or where ever it was, called and offered him the shot, and it is a big if, it is because they want something from him in the future and since he never met a lobbyist he didn't like, he will probably provide it. He knows whats up. But, if it is true that they called him and if it is true the vaccine was going to go to waste (when there were likely a hundred people within fifty yards who have a higher priority then Lucio) then why didn't he take it upon himself to find an elderly person or a vet or a first responder and give them the opportunity? His nest defense is going to be that he hoped to set an example to the public about the safety of the vaccine and encourage others to get vaccinated. If this is the case why didn't he notify the press and make a big deal out of it. If he uses this excuse it is another Lucio lie.
The only reason is HE'S A MAMON PERIOD!!! All elected officials are MAMONES specially that pussy healer!!!!!
His only essential function is to make money off the idiots who voted him into office! Just like any politician, get elected and make money for your retirement or commit a crime and still get a pension! Probably like Tetas, sucked someone to get that shot!
Juan so what happens in the event Sucio Lucio Jr gets some side effects, grows a third nipple etc and get can no longer hold office? Will the Eddie Lucio the TURD come in to replace him? just asking? Be prepared.

No hate here and no need to shout to get your point across. People just pointing out what may be wrong or right or if protocol was followed, just like the list mentioned. Don't wish him bad, but we're just not on speed dial like some people are. Has Eddie Lucio continued to help distribute at food banks like his mail-in flyer showed before the elections? Well he's not the only one, most politicians forget to do kind things for the common folks after election time. They come down from their pedestals for a little while then return after elections. We are only gold until we are needed again.
