I hope that all is well with you and your family at this unprecedented time with the COVID-19 pandemic raging.
I write with my concerns as a citizen of Cameron County and as your constituent as I reside at 509 Morelos Avenue, Rancho Viejo in Precinct 2 regarding the allocation of COVID-19 vaccine within your possession that was distributed by you as reported in the press today.
I like many others have family who are elderly, my mother being 85 years old and has COPD and other ailments serious enough to have her isolated in mt house during the terrible time for all of us.
My issue is that reading the press account you selected recipients to receive the vaccine that obviously my mother and many other elderly citizens were not privy to.

How did you decide how the vaccines and to whom they were to be provided too? Was it random selection on your part or suggested by others?
Were all the recipients confirmed to be from Pct 2 and over 65 years of age?
Did you make any contact with individuals or your staff informing of the availability of the vaccine?
I tried to explain to my mother why she hasn't received the vaccine to this date. I had hoped that I would not have had to read the accounts made in the press today and would like an explanation as to how others were given preference apparently than others.

If you allocated to churches as stated in today's paper, which denominations did you donate to and what others did you not? It appears neither myself or my mom belongs to your church that was selected. In any event everyone in your Precinct needs to be treated equally as I would expect you to agree with.
After what I read today it is very concerning to me and many others I have spoken with in our Precinct you serve. The chief law of the people is the good of all the people.

All the commissioners did the same thing. Information was not public. So, they informed the people they knew of the 750 vouchers. So they told their family, the family told their friends, the friends told their relatives and then the 750 vouchers were gone. (THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT QUIET and not TELL ALL THE PEOPLE ABOUT THIS that they got a SHOT.......pero nos encanta el chisme...plus you could hear the neighbors getting up early to get the shot....)
In the first clinics....there were no vouchers...it was SHOW up and get the Virus Shot. 65 years and older.
Next, it was the vouchers to the commissioners. ALL AGES !!!
Now, it is more coordinated and the information is PUBLIC: and people are at Los Fresnos with a Voucher. BUT only 65 years and older.

Is this above anyone's IQ? Could you hold vaccine locations everyday according to the Tier Level and do it by A-F, G-L, M-R, S-Z? They must have proof of age in case of question, proof of address so the Matamoros people don't cut line. 75-and above, 65-74, etc. Why do we have to go to Los Fresnos? What if we don't have transportation? Why not at the Jacob Brown Civic Center, instead of weddings, and buildings where you have a lot of parking space available? Use your cabeza, vato!! Can some mobile unit go to neighborhoods to inject the seniors and handicapped citizens by going home to home like they do when they are searching for our vote when they are running for a position?

You forgot to mention that Joey Lopez went through the per-diem checks that BISD issued him on trip to go see Minnie and goofy.... then he called and demanded they send more money!! And he did take his then young daughter who is now a trustee along for the publicly funded family vacation.... ah how the world turns... it would be funny if the daughter goes back to see Goofy again, and we pay for it of course..... the life lessons handed down by the father...... It's not that complicated. All the commissioners had to do was give the vaccines to Dr. Eder just how they did with the Covid testing this past summer. No bids of course. Joey Lopez gave to the BISD Superintendent and his close political buddies. All of Sylvia Atkinson people got a voucher. Employees at CAB were going to have a raffle for the Covid vouchers. There is a connection with Joey Lopez and CAB Admin to get bids. Now that Joey Lopez gave the Superintendent vouchers he has full reign. Pura tranza and the Atkinson clan will never learn. I saw Shergold waiting for hours making sure his mother got vaccinated on Friday in Los Fresnos. He was even handing out water and helping the disabled from his vehicle that was part of the thousands parked. No sign of Joey anywhere.

"Community service", heck no! he just wants to line his pockets. I too recall that the first act he took as the new Commissioner was to suggest a raise for the "poor" Commisioners...pobresitos. The noble notion is that you go into politics for true community service. If you're in it for the money, you are a LOSER! Get a real job. Joey, this goes for you!
