At the time they found it distasteful that Treviño would try to milk political dividends out of it.
And they found it even worse when Treviño admitted the county had made some missteps and asked for suggestions for the public for the better distribution of the vaccines. The backlash from the fact that he had handed out 750 vouchers for the vaccine to each commissioner to distribute as they saw fit is still reverberating. Many reports indicate that many of those vouchers went to relatives and political supporters.
Now some of our seven readers say that Pct. 2 commissioner Joey Lopez used the Los Fresnos EMS/Fire Department venue to hand out embroidered "gimme" caps to participants at yesterday's vaccine clinic. This borderline politicking using a county vaccine distribution site is unseemly, no matter who does it. Given the dismal performance of the city and county with testing, vaccine distribution and its lax enforcement of the closing of bars, they have no business trying to glean political points from these events.)

Mr. RrunRrun. Who paid for the caps to be given out and how much did it pay the tax payers and from what account was it paid from? Those caps are embroided and are not cheap. Somebody compadre made a lot of money. Did they use money from the Pandemic for vaccines to promot themselves?

Both of the people born in 1934 received confirmation they will get the vaccine in the morning. I was shocked to see a 70 year old got in under the wire.

The City of Brownsville will be hosting its first city-led COVID-19 vaccination clinic for individuals 65 years of age or above this Saturday, February 13, 2021.
Earlier in the day the blogger bitched about the registration procedures being followed by the City of Brownsville while registering two elderly persons born in 1934. However, he did not mention that he registered himself before registering one of the elderly individual. The information was clearly stated by the information of the City of Brownsville. The vaccination clinic to be held on Saturday is for individuals 65 years of age or older. Furthermore, he encouraged his readers to complaint about the procedures being followed by the city and county which he posted a few hours later in the day. Also, confusing is the fact that if the two elderly individuals were born in 1934, they would be 87 years of age instead of 70 years old.
They ran out because they gave them to all elected officials and they in turn gave them to their families and friends to vote for them.
REMEMBER THAT! WHEN ELECTION TIME IS HERE DON'T VOTE FOR ANY OF THEM
