QUESTION IN EVERYONE'S MIND: WILL TREVINO OPEN BARS?

This map shows counties which have allowed bars to open since January 8.

Special to El Rrun-Rrun

By mid-morning today, the Texas Department of State Health Services will notify Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño whether the county's COVID-19 hospitalization rate exceeds 15 percent to allow bars to open.

Restaurants are already allowed to open at a limited 50 percent capacity.

Since January 30, the Cameron County Health Department has reported an additional 784 new positive cases and an additional 25 COVID-19  related deaths to raise the total of positive cases to 36,625 and the number of deaths to 1,357. Brownsville has had the highest number of positive cases and deaths in the county.

The question should be why is he allowing Joey Lopez to proceed with a wedding which reportedly will host over 200 persons. This will be a covid super spreader. So will Trevino lift the 10 person limit on social gatherings?

Vaccine providers administering COVID-19 doses throughout Texas will be using new strategies to ensure more people who are 75 years old or older receive the vaccine.

Down here they are reserved for friends, family and for votes...
There needs to be an investigation how vaccines are distributed and punishment should be a result if found guilty. CALL THE FBI NOW!!!

Officials are working to give people “equal opportunity” to receive their vaccinations, Treviño stated.

WHERE? NOT HERE IN CAMERON COUNTY!!!

We are living Parallel World existences, with some communities following Covid-19 guidelines and others ignoring them. At this rate, the pandemic will be with us 10 years or more.

The anti-Covid people are mostly - overwhelmingly - Republicans.

Why would the TSC, or the city rent out the Jacob Brown Auditorium for any event or gathering at a time like this?

Did Donald Trump lie about who won the 2020 election? The answer seems obvious, but it isn’t. If Trump was just deluded—if he told his followers to march on the Capitol on Jan. 6 because he really thought the election had been stolen — some senators might cut him a break in his impeachment trial. But if Trump knew his allegations were bunk, and he sent his mob to the Capitol anyway, that’s a more coldblooded crime.

Firsthand accounts from Trump’s former aides, lawyers, and political allies, detailed in several recent articles, suggest that he knew his allegations were false, flimsy, or baseless. He was repeatedly advised that his claims didn’t check out. He also privately admitted that some of these claims were dubious or absurd.

King Trevino is just on a power trip! Pendejo thinks he going get more government funding for his strict mandates! Anyways, there's this pendejo half coco who calls Trump a draft dodger, but neglectes to mention that Biden supposedly had asthma to avoid military service. He was healthy enough to play high school football, play sports in college, and be a life guard, but when the draft came, he came up sick with asthma! And este pendejo is calling Trump a draft dodger! Hahahahaha! Idiota!

I drove by the Amigoland mall site at 9:15 am. They were just starting. An avg of ONE CAR with 3 or 4 inside the car. Line all the way to Ross dept store. I will wait a couple of weeks. It will be at CVS, Walgreens and HEB pharmacies.

Republican counties.....they will open bars to create a big problem for President Biden.

Stay home and drink virtually.

Actually, Amigoland vaccinations started at 6 am and were well run. The problem was that the City did not provide any assistance to the line which stretched from Amigoland to almost the Expressway on 12th. The line was not monitored nor regulated and caused huge problems for the garbage trucks and school buses doing their routes. The cops were nowhere to be found(they never are when you need them, right?) and the people in the line and those caught in the crossfire were left to fend for themselves. Thanks to the guy on a bicycle who directed traffic.
