On the eve of taking office Citibank sued Eric Garza for failure to pay his debt. Remember he had to quit his job as District Clerk to run for sheriff.
HERE IS THE KICKER THE CASE IS IN JOHNATHAN GRACIA'S COURT - YOU KNOW THE SAME JOHNATHAN GRACIA WHOSE FATHER WORKS FOR ERIC, AND HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY SUED ALONG WITH ERIC - ROBERT GRACIA
Johnathan Gracia knowing full well his father works for Eric Garza and is a codefendant in multiple lawsuits with Eric Garza has failed to recuse himself from the case.
I do not doubt the Commission on Judicial Conduct will issue a public reprimand against Johnathan Gracia for
his conduct in this case. I would imagine Citibank will seek immediate action against Gracia and Garza.

What kind of doctor is a realtor? The only doctor Denise
Yvett Ochoa I can find in Brownsville is not admitted to
practice medicine in the U.S. It could be a completely different Ochoa.

Sec. 85.001. OATH AND BOND. (a) A person elected as sheriff, before beginning to perform the duties of office, must execute a bond with:
(1) two or more good and sufficient sureties; or
(2) a solvent surety company authorized to do business in this state.
(b) The bond must be:
(1) approved by the commissioners court of the county;
(2) made payable to the governor;
(3) in an amount established by the commissioners court, but not less than $5,000 or more than $30,000; and
(4) conditioned that the sheriff will:
(A) faithfully perform the duties of office established by law;
(B) account for and pay to the person authorized by law to receive them the fines, forfeitures, and penalties the sheriff collects for the use of the state or a county;
Sec. 87.014. GROUNDS: FAILURE TO GIVE BOND. A county officer who is required by law to give an official bond may be removed under this subchapter if the officer:
(1) fails to execute the bond within the time prescribed by law; or
(2) does not give a new bond, or an additional bond or security, if required by law to do so.

Throughout all the lawsuits from the previous administration from Omar Lucio and the Reynas never once did legal send any emails. So, it is not about politics? Quite evident that it is.
This letter just proves that Garza was saying all along. That the courthouse security belongs to sherriff department. Abel Gomez, in his attempts to keep all those positions and act like a mini sherriff with control of over 29 positions, when all other constables only have 5 positions is the whole thing here. Abel Gomez, Eddie Treviño, Joey Lopez and his dummy sidekick Eliseo Gomez are all bragging around town how they are sticking it to Erick Garza. They know they will lose in court... so this letter is admitting they are wrong. They just want Erick Garza to kiss their ring.... not going to happen. The commission’s only power over sherriff department is budgetary... period. The Sherriff controls 100% his department. If the Sherriff wanted to , he could decide not to house federal inmates, which brings in millions of dollars to the County budget.... and it is his call only.

The bad one was when Linda Salazar(Reynas aunt) heard her son's cases in her court and did not recuse herself. Only when it was brought up to her attention by the Ethics Commission. Has that case been heard?

Sheriff knew he was in his right, did not take over budget, he was clear from start. He was waiting for Commissioners to reassign the budget to him later.

Concerning CitiBank, very easy we don't always have to agree with how our credit card treats us, sometimes they just don't work with the card holders, the only way you force them to hear you is by stopping payment. Mr. Garza will resolve this matter quickly just like the above mentioned complain from Gomez. He can easily apply for another line of credit and transfer the account to new credit card. Problem fixed.
The voters wanted change, we elected Sheriff Garza to change things, of course the people in positions and with rank that were not earned with merit, or school or qualifications, are going to cry. He is correcting things as he goes, still lots more to be addressed.

I have been balanced. There is more to the Citi case, like all the law firms suing the lawyer who has hundreds of these cases filed in Cameron county.
There is you bigger issue. Literally the Moss law firm has hundreds of cases filed with our JP's and they are facing suit from many law firms all over the state. Moss is a lawsuit mill. Lawyers have been indicted over this.
I'm just trying to develop the full story, but yet Eric Garza thinks he is going to get a district judge to say the file is confidential. He is only making matters worse for himself and Gracia.
If Moss is running a lawsuit mill in Cameron county with our JP's people need to know it.
I just had a bogus claim removed from my credit report. I know these lawsuit mill lawyers well and how they corrupt our judges, and bully people into payment. Lawyers have been disbarred for suing people with similar names and then destroying their credit.
Garza could have found a friend in me, but maybe Moss and his buddies are donating enough to the JP's to keep everything quiet. I have given plenty to Garza to go after the county, and he should.

That was exactly what I was trying to explain, Citi, CapitalOne and WellsFargo are a nightmare to deal with. They are credit bullies. I was saying that a person is not necessarily guilty just because this credit king bosses sue you. They try to force you to pay any which way they can, regardless of what you try to explain to them such as divorce, foreclosure, no job, COVID, Identity theft, etc. they want money NOW.
I think you got my point, ty, and reinforced it with your explanation. If it was me going through this, yes I would listen to all input and maybe someone would give me pointers on how to come out a little better off from something like this.
Do you remember back in the day when personal Checks were more popular, I witnessed court sessions where a person was taken to court and fined/ordered to pay hundreds of dollars for bouncing a 3 dollar check.
They too did not take into account, human error, bank mistake, person who got check did not attempt to cash for months, balance was off and there you go you get a Writing Hot Check on your record.

I'm sure everything will be released for public view, but at this time it is an ongoing investigation. Nothing can be released, it is not appropriate to disclose at this time.
Judge will do what is right, If he can defend that he feels he will not be influenced/biased by the relationship between his father and the Sheriff, he can proceed. I have been stopped by cops that I know and you would have thought I was being stopped by a GunHOO Kansas State Hwy Patrol. Some people take job serious and can execute job regardless who they are dealing with.
If he feels he might be doing wrong, he can call the right dept. and ask, they will ask him if he feels competent of carrying out the job. If he says YES, he will be allowed.
