I read and hear opinions and comments voicing support for a candidate but what I seldom hear are what are the qualifications and capabilities of the candidate(s). On the other hand, what I do read and hear are finger-pointing and direct insults/slurs. Sadly but rightfully so, the direction some voters are facing is not so much to put a candidate into office but rather to keep them out of office.
As I see it, looking into a candidates past social and political history, experience, and patterns, as well as their lawful duty as a citizen, will clearly pave the path of their ambitions/motives. We can prepare for the future but we can never undo the past!!!
Brownsville has government of the few, by the few and for the few. The voters don't expect anything else, but maybe little planca every now and then. Why should they waste their time listening to a bunch of local politicos trying to blow smoke up their asses.

With 6 city managers making over 1 million dollars to supervise the public works director is hard work. Los seis together can't come up with a SINGLE idea on how to improve ANYTHNING and much less to improve something.
Has the million dollar department come up on how to fix the pothole problem, the traffic jams, the flooding, stop building bike trails, NO THEY HAVE NOT, they are too busy counting their millions and hiring consulting firms just to cover their asses.

All this dealings are just plain love affairs and with taxpayers money. He brings all his girl friends from up north and now they are giving consulting contracts to their new boy friends. All these abuses has got to stop.
New city commissioners need to be elected the ones there now are completed incompetent and need to be replaced.
