It's been 10 years since the city purchased the worthless La Casa del Nylon and to this day, it remains a ratnest. Total waste of taxpayers monies invested on this property. By the way, the purchase price was well above what it was worth, which was and is against the law. Zero accountability.
Trey Mendez has to go. He is trying to screw City Employees out of their retirement benefits along with the other pendejo City Manager Noel Bernal.
They made a sweetheart deal in transferring ALL City Employee 357b investment funds from VALIC and Nationwide to EQUITABLE for absolutely no reason.
The previous vendors were doing just fine and have been doing extremely well.
The ONLY reason to transfer millions of dollars in City Employee investments was to give former BCIC member Micheal Limas.
It would be good if you follow the money trail Mr. Montoya. This completely reeks of a major kickback scheme.
All of these assholes are in bed with each other.
Velas office in Brownsville sucked anyways went there one time for something simple the lanky lady manager with short dark hair looks and talks down to you,it was a terrible terrible experience.
City management also intends to mess with current and future retirees health insurance benefits. In five years they quadrupled the insurance deductible for active employees and increased their monthly contributions as well. No wonder city employees are leaving in droves.

PUB has announced it will name the new sewer treatment plant after a local leader. After overwhelming votes the new plant will be named after Chief Felix "El Chapo" Sauceda-Bernal. THE VOTERS ALL Choose Felix "El Chapo" Sauceda-Bernal as the face of the new sewer treatment plant because he is full of shit just like the new sewerage plant!!!
