Knowing Dr. Zendejas spersonally and professionally, I know she would not stoop to that level. Dr. Z surely had reason to laugh, but she is too professional to lower herself to laughing at someone who Atkinson family.
This new school board needs to look into these high position starting with the superintendent the deputy superintendents brought in by Sylvia Atkinson they are being paid too much for what they do we taxpayers do not see a difference with these top overpaid personnel look at HR they are giving jobs only two there friends without advertising positions

BISD now wants a new Admin position for the TEA funds. BISD Secre turned Admin, JJ De Leon is already saying that new position it's for him. He wants a secretary too. A lot of spending for JJ De Leon. He is one hot item right now.

Don't laugh too hard. Sylvie might have the dirt on Pendejas regarding the Sam's scoreboard debacle. And Coach is no longer around to share any blame.
Contracts without bids lots of corruption during her tenure! Everything must be reviewed! Lots of wasteful spending.
The scoreboard was approved 100% by the whole board and Dr. Zendejas had not vote on the issue. Now, Joe is another issue. The City of Brownsville voters voted for the TRE with all the projects included, so Dr. Z had nothing to do with it.

The scoreboard was voted unanimously by the board. As a parent and coach, I thank Dr.Z for taking risk to bring the best to BISD in the scoreboard. Parents can watch their children in closeup manner with new scoreboard, especially at graduation. When you attend the graduations at Sams, remember Dr. Z. You women and men commenting are just so jealous of others getting ahead. Most of these comments are from Sylvia's friends and relatives. While some board members (Sylvia) made Dr. Z's work difficult, she did a lot for us. You don't have to like her but you have to respect her work.
In the federal system, 80 months is 80 months (+/- a few months for classes and good time)
We do not know what the pre-sentencing investigation guidelines said, but if she elected to go to trial and lost, it was certainly much higher than 80 months.
There are ways to get that reduced before and after sentencing.
