Cardenas was the top vote getter in the runoff election with a 68 to 32 percent victory over Neece, while De los santos edged out Bradshaw 54 to 46 percent.
De los Santos will be sworn in by Cameron County Court-at-Law #1 Judge Arturo Americo McDonald at 263 Creekbend Drive at 5 p.m. and Cardenas will be sworn in at the steps of City of Brownsville City Hall by United States Magistrate Judge Ignacio Torteya III.

Most public officials are corrupt and for themselves.
Hopping time will prove me wrong.
Pedro will suggest events that will make him, his friends, his business and family money. Possibly "Rent Free" in using city facilities for so called fund raisers. I hope not, but keep him under radar.
