HOLA FROM TENNESSEE: DOMINGUEZ WITH QUORUM BUSTERS

(Ed.'s Note: We got word today from Texas State Rep. Rep. Alex Dominguez that he and his band of merry quorum busters had reached Tennessee aboard a chartered touring bus filled with Democratic lawmakers who left the state Monday so there won't be enough lawmakers present to hold a vote on Republican election bills.
They are heading to Washington, D.C., to prevent a quorum during the special legislative session that is being held because the a scuttled the May legislative session –  also by leaving –  to block a sweeping election bill pushed by Republicans and Texas GOv. Greg Abbott they say would restrict voters, primarily minority voters.
Both bills would eliminate drive-thru and 24-hour early voting, expand early voting hours to some medium-sized counties, add identification requirements for voting by mail, increase criminal penalties for some election officials who don't follow regulations and give more powers to poll watchers.
Dominguez said the restrictive bills would affect mostly Texans of color and said he would forego his legislator's per diem payments while he is out of the state.)

Dominguez didn't say much when Republicans proposed these bills, and he didn't say much when they were being debated across the state. Alex should have held a Town Hall meeting for all South Texans, to discuss each bill in-depth and to gauge sentiment of our citizenry.

Now, he bolts the state. It's not a new move, as Republicans have themselves used this tactic in the past.

Timely communication with voters back home remains Dominguez's weakness.

But, good luck with the go-along move, Alex!

So the Democrats can't get the votes so they leave. So if they don't get a majority they get up and run. What happened to Democracy? Imagine if Republicans did this whenever they lost. What kind of leaders are these Bozos? And people vote for this kind of shit. Puro pinche mugrero! And the people keep voting for these deadbeats. Win elections bitches instead of running from your responsibilities. And they're proud of what they're doing. No tienen verguenza. And we're stuck with this shit down here.

How in the hell do these restrictions affect people of color?? Can anyone please explain this to me? If you have an ID showing who you are you can vote right? Why are they afraid of stricter voting laws? You would think dumbass Dominguez would stand up for keeping our election process from being corrupted, so I see he is the corrupted one instead. Get your ass to work Dominguez and do the job that you were elected to do.
