Gov. Greg Abbott stated on Monday that, “The Democrats must put aside partisan political games and get back to the job they were elected to do.”
Republican Gov. Abbott’s statement rings hollow. Democrats are doing their job. They’re fighting for everyone’s right to vote regardless of party affiliation. On the other hand, Gov. Abbott and his fellow Republicans choose to flirt with tyranny. (Tyranny: cruel, unreasonable, or arbitrary use of power or control). The Republicans are playing “partisan political games.” Their focus, their “game” is to win at all costs, by hook and by crook — period.
The Republicans voted to pass their voter suppression “laws,” people of Texas be damned, democracy be damned. The Republicans are placing their party above state and country. The Republicans. Do. Not. Care. Republicans espousing the phrase “stealing the vote” are hypocrites. Republicans are “stealing” voters' voices by suppression; their actions are truly un-American and un-patriotic.

For years Jerry McHale let McAllen's Duardo piggyback on his successful blog, trying to help the wrinkled old-timer with hair dyed Lady Clairol red get a jumpstart into the Brownsville blogosphere.
But, no one in Brownsville took Duardo seriously and now he rewards Jerry by calling him anti-Hispanic and pro-Trump.
It's increasingly obvious that Duardo is simply jealous of Jerry's blogging success which only serve to remind him of his multiple failures.
