Is it even a question that JP 2-1 Linda Salazar shuns her judicial duties to perform weddings, Montoya?
All who work in the county courthouse including the nepotism employees know that "La Naca" Salazar makes it a point to conduct weddings since she charges and "arm & a leg" to perform these ceremonies just like everyone in Harlingen know that the only time JP Sally Gonzales is in office is when she is performing wedding ceremonies. But, police agencies CANNOT get a hold of her for death calls? But she makes it a point to go out in her precinct and perform wedding ceremonies to line her pockets. And she has no problems going to the 8 liners or casinos to spend that extra money.
She also has no qualms like "La Naca" to request and take a pay raise along with the extras. The question you should be asking Montoya is why isn't the county commissioners doing something about it?
They use county "taxpayer" funded offices or county time to make this extra money and its not even factored into their salary, or make them show how much extra money they make from these weddings?
We know that JP Jonathan Gracia (2-2) charged a couple $700.00 to perform a wedding on the international bridge and then doesn't show up and sends that "fugly miss piggy" Elia "Cornhole" Cornejo-Lopez with her scowl and ruins the couple' special day.
Then "Miss Piggy" gets offended when the bride slams her on Facebook and like a child, "Miss Piggy" refuses to file the marriage license. What ever came out about that Montoya? (Ed.'s Note: Cornejo did not file the marriage certificate and the couple went to Gracia and had their money returned. The ceremony was later performed by someone else.)
Jonathan Gracia, you should be ashamed of yourself for not even showing up and performing the wedding. You charge and average of $100.00 to $125.00 (guessing) and perform an average of 25-30 (guessing) a year and don't have to claim a penny of it?
Well, lot of money! Unless, its not that many and the charge is more than that? A public information request would settle that question? But, for whatever reason these two worthless elected officials get elected into office every time?

Hurrah !!! To the new wife. She fought judges, heat, marriage in the middle of the bridge, ....finally she is married.
That shows she will solve all future problems in her marriage. She has strong opinions but is patient.
