The city of Brownsville continues its annual tradition with the Christmas parade today starting at 7 p.m.
The parade will move through downtown Brownsville along Elizabeth Street.
The pandemic cancelled the parade last year and organizers hope parade-goers will take the safety precautions with face coverings and maintain a safe social distance as much as possible.

Brownsville should follow McAllen's example of a true Christmas parade. It's only a reflection of leadership, pathetic here in Brownsville where so called leaders are only there to get rich.
