Special to El Rrun-Rrun
It was with real sorrow that we heard about the passing of Larry Warner Tuesday, a practicing attorney from 1973 when he graduated from University of Texas and set up shop in Harlingen and served clients from all over South Texas. Larry was not just a good and competent lawyer, but he exuded a genuine human warmth to all, including his opponents in a courtroom.
Larry was also a member of The State Bar of Texas Committees on Evidence, Criminal Law and The Rules of Conduct for Lawyers
He was also a former member of the Texas House of Representatives.
Our deepest condolences to his wife Norma, who has accompanied him through this journey and stood by him through thick and thin. Their love for each other was contagious.
Larry handled cases in many areas of the law, including Criminal, State Appellate Practice, Family Law and others, which he taught to budding law students.
Peace be with him and his family. He will be missed.
