Nobody cares about Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner: How long can Kushner get away with taking $2 BILLION from Saudi Arabia?

Just as there are no repercussions for Donald Trump running his business out of the White House. Kushner was selling influence.

(jail the Jewish asshole)

Hundreds of jobs? Donde?

This is a great idea. I love it. I am going to vote YES.

These are real, authentic and smart leaders that care about us.

100's of new jobs.
Visitors will flock to Cameron County.
The Hotels will pay for all this....these are big corporations with big money.

Support Eddie Trevino, help the 3 members of the Non Profit that are behind this Arena.

Let us do it. NOW.

But how about the Jacob Brown, the TSC Performing Arts Center, the Brownsville's Event Center? Oh, I forgot they are booked all year long.

Republican Greg Abbott's Nazi-like abortion law:

“Women are peeing on sticks every day,” said Catalina LeaƱo, 51, the lead nurse at Houston Women’s Reproductive Services. “People are coming in in chaos and desperation, with this anxiety that you’re either too early or you’re too late.”

(Q: Can Texas dictator Abbott get away with it?)

We already have the Epicenter coming in San Bene. It is ours, not the county's - like your pussy-ass arena.

The arena will NOT be in Brownsville.

It will be named after Eddie Trevino.

TRUMP FINED $10,000 PER DAY:

A court has ruled to hold Donald Trump in civil contempt after the former president refused to turn over documents related to the New York attorney general’s investigation into him and the Trump Organization’s financial dealings.

According to the ruling by a judge at the New York state Supreme Court, Trump must pay $10,000 per day for every day he continues to refuse to provide the documents.

“Today, justice prevailed,” Attorney General Letitia James tweeted. “Our investigation into Donald Trump and the Trump Organization’s financial dealings will continue undeterred because no one is above the law.”

Like so many, I am in the dark about this arena. I'd say the roll-out has been woeful. Inform the public. People have a right to know. So many millions of dollars and so few positive words from our leaders.

When you rush things in business, well you know what happens. And it ain't good.

Hey, Brownsville, the reason the arena is out in the county is because Harlingen did not want it in Brownsville.

fact.

Now that is a disaster waiting to happen story. I do love arenas but am no fan. But when Brownsville and Cameron County have been given so many chances to actually achieve a success, they seem determined to shoot themselves in the foot. Shame. A comprehensive mass transit network is something Brownsville desperately needs.

Anonymous said...

So they want to build an arena so they can have KISS and Britney Spears concerts? Ewww.

Anonymous said...

@2:12 PM

Agree on the mass transportation. this amount of money could help fund rail service between Brownsville and HARLINGEN, with a stop at San Benito's new Epicenter!

priorities, people.

History shows us few people visit Cameron County. Do a study by a reputable firm, not one by Eddie Trevino!

This is the 9, 9, 9 arena.

9 miles from Harlingen
9 miles from Los Fresnos
9 miles from Brownsville.

1. Three people are behind this arena. They formed a website called Friends of Cameron County Arena and the website Cameron County Arena
2. Last November this Arena failed by less than 1% (55 people MORE voted against it)
3. The local leaders want this Arena so they will never give up until the 55 people stop voting NO.

What they want to do with this Arena: graduations, concerts, county fairs,
events. etc.

Is this a good idea? Voters will decide.

The politicians are counting that people are impressed by the media and vote YES.

Brownsville is the hub of the valley, its over flowing with tourist, the rich and famouse come here all the time, just to see rockets. Air traffic is at a breaking point, bus is over crowed and the downtown area is overflowing with people from the old country (eruope). The motels and hotels are packed and the mall is crowed with people buying everything. Shelves are most of the time empty. Traffic flows like honey and there is not one single red light any where. It rains and you see no overflow NO where.

ITS TIME TO SPEND, BUILT SEVERAL ARENAS, MINIMUM OF FIVE (CINCO), AND BRING IN SOME PROFESSIONAL TEAMS, LIKE FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL AND OF COURSE SOCCER....

LETS SPEND IT ALL - RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

Eduardo not eddie hes meskin just like el joto at the port puros pinches cocos lambiscones.

Calling the mayor names (some he deserves), the local politicians with insults, will NOT make any difference if they buy the vote of the yes. I went to vote NO, will keep saying NO. We had a little rain and we are drowning. An arena is NOT going to make us #1 in the Valley. Suggestion to politicians and the local rich: You want an arena, do what Bert Ogden Arena did. Private investors, YOUR money, YOUR ideas, YOUR LOSS. Not the same right?

Anonymous said...

The brightest idieas will never be found here. Up the valley the elected officials got private individuals and companies to built arenas never using tax funding, NOW THOSE ARE THE BEST IDEAS AROUND, BUT HERE, elected officials SUCK they always want to use public taxes to built anything and everything.
ESTOS PENDEJOS NO PIENSAN. AIN'T GOT NO BRAINS.

70 events a year with 6,000 average attendance. Not gonna happen dot com. There are already two established venues in the market and they don't even come close to those numbers. Within a market there are only so many entertainment dollars. And the hotel stayover numbers.....they are blowing smoke up the ass of Cameron County voters.

Anonymous said...

Carlos cascos needs to shut the fuck up.
He tried so hard to get an arena built here when he was county judge, now he flips the script to make eddie look bad just because election season is around the corner.
County leaders are trying to improve the quality of life here for future generations and closed minded individuals want it to stay the same and not progress. Improved quality of life isnt free. At some point our citizens will pay a small amount for better living. If you dont want the city and county to progress then fucking move somewhere else

Anonymous said...

April 29, 2022 at 10:15 AM

You are confused. The people from South Texas love this area they way it is.
The people that want a city like San Antonio, Houston, Las Vegas...they need to move there. They are going to be happy.

Better living in South Texas: few people, empty tracts of land, agricultural land, good small towns, good kids, church abiding boys and girls, poverty but with dignity and good friends.

What you want will change South Texas and the Valley: high taxes, areas for the rich and famous, rich and poor neighborhoods, etc

What you call progress is not progress for South Texas: restaurants: people do no go. Arenas: most people will not go.

Insulting with words now? I guess just voicing or voting "No" would be an insult to you or to the Arena group?

Anonymous said...

Voting no would not be an insult. Just proof of how close minded and uneducated our community is.

Word on the street is that if the majority vote is no then private investors will come in and raise funds on their own for completion of the arena. Meaning, no HOT taxes will be used, which then means our citizens will end up paying for it along with increased taxes. Vote yes: get support from hot taxes and general funds
Vote no: end up paying for along with higher property taxes
