If you rent a car or a hotel locally, even if you are a local resident, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS EXTRA TAX IN YOUR HOTEL & CAR RENTAL BILL!

Don't need it. It will sit empty. Eyesore

You believe that it will be an "Eyesore", the solution is simple: Don't look at it.

Until the Pave every single street in Brownsville Texas then I will think about voting for this Arena. I have gone to Harlingen, San Benito, Weslaco, Mcallen and so on not a single pot hole on their streets. Brownsville streets are terrible. SHAME ON YOU USELESS LEADERS. CHANGE IS COMING FOR THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE FOR THE GOOD .ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Vote no Arena!
Proverty and deprivation is the way city leaders manage Brownsville.
No health insurance for employees no pay raise. Money stolen by city leaders and their family and friends.
Revitalize the city of Brownsville, not just downtown. Downtown is dead, there is no life in downtown. Keep all city and county offices downtown. Because, after 5pm. It is a ghost town.
Brownsville Texas poorest city in the nation. And you want an Arena, vote no. Poorest city and you cannot fix one problem in Brownsville.
You cannot fix it you cannot build it.
Vote no on arena.

Get rid of the resaca in picture, and save 99,999,999.00.
List all the hotel and motels in downtown? List Restaurants and there health inspection placed on the window. All rat infested and dirty.
Vote no Arena. The one event you have is charro days. No arena needed.

Vote no.
The chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime in Brownsville is 1 in 45. Based on FBI crime data, Brownsville is not one of the safest communities in America. Relative to Texas, Brownsville has a crime rate that is higher than 75% of the state's cities and towns of all sizes.

Vote no.
Brownsville, Texas, sits high in the rankings, where cities want to come in low. It's the poorest city in America, with 36 percent of its residents living in poverty.

No to 100 million. No to waisting money.

LOL, LOLZ, ROFL, LQTM, LSMH, LMHO, HAHA.

YOU WANT AN ARENA AND YOU CANNOT GET ✈️ TO LAND OR TAKE OFF IN BROWNSVILLE. THIS IS FUNNY AS HELL. WHAT A JOKE. YOUR FIRED.

Do they want to build an arena or a resaca? HAHA!
Build the arena next to the busy Brownsville airport.
Airport has no restaurant, bookstore, coffee shop, shoeshine area, massage chair, bar, souvenir shop, taxi, or hotel.
Que to lo crea tu madre! No te creo a nada.
Vote no Arena.

What part of NO do these people don't understand? and then they wonder why will they lose 3 democratic seats. THINK like the middle class WORKING VOTER, NOT like the give me a plate voter, THINK about bringing more than food chains but actual factory work for the workers. NOT EVERYONE lives or likes to live on Welfare. THINK that WORKING MAN or WOMAN will have enough money to invest locally and not have to go to other parts of the county or the state. STOP thinking on how YOU can make a buck and you will get the response that when we have enough local manufacturing jobs then we can invest in arenas that will be a white elephant. The Bert Ogden arena and the one in Hidalgo are PRIVATE INVESTORS, NOT local tax entities, If it is such a great project then all the attorneys, doctors, politicians, put your money where your mouth is and YOU put the money for the arena. The answer is NO, and I am a FEMALE REGISTERED VOTER that votes IN ALL ELECTIONS.

This Arena will work if it becomes a small Las Vegas: SIN CITY: sex, porn, nudity, poker games, all 24 hours.....non stop.

This will greatly impact the city and CAMERON COUNTY. More vice, more crime, more abuse,

The families in Brownsville will see their children being used and abused...but the MONEY will be there. BIG MONEY.

GO FOR IT. VOTE for the ARENA. LAS VEGAS STYLE.

“This proposition is basically a yay or nay vote authorizing the use of the venue tax which consists of the hotel-motel and car rental taxes. Use that revenue stream to pay for a portion of the project,” said Treviño.
The first run on the ballot was last November and it fell short by 55 votes, according to Treviño, but he said he is confident people are standing behind the project.

“It should be a community issue as opposed to an election issue. We think it’s a win-win for the community and we hope that the residents and voters of Cameron County will support it,” said Treviño.
