Juan why are you covering up the resaca? What is going on with you?
The resaca is where all the money is at.

How much money did the event Center make last year?
How much money did the sportsplex make last year?
How much money did the private parking for downtown make last year that is reserved for the mayor's friends?
How much money did the mayor and his friends make from Elon musk donation?

El San Bene beat y’all to the punch with the epicenter. And at no costs to the taxpayers. Now that is way to do it Browntown.

secretly, and he'll never say it in public, county commissioner Joey "Lazy" Lopez is AGAINST the arena. El vato de la cara de ardilla likes to keep the social classes apart.

Vote NO on LAZY Lopez, who is seeking reelection but is not campaigning.

How many visitors do you need to fund construction of this mega-taqueria?

Total Fucking Lie!

There aren't that many visitors who want to come to Cameron County/Brownsville!!!

Increased NEGATIVE economic impact to the county.

fact.

Yeah…minimum wage jobs at the bottom of the county pay scale.

Free lifetime pass to the arena if it passes??

Just say no to 100 million. You idiots in Cameron county do not have 100 mil. I doubt the local corrupt construction companies want to be paid in Coke,Fentanyl or Meth.

Accused ‘Zip-Tie’ Capitol Rioter Wins Bid to Use UberEATS While Under House Arrest

Last year, 31-year-old Eric Gavelek Munchel got special permission to call his mom — and co-defendant — on Mother’s Day.

Fucked-up judge. Is he a Trump appointee?

The problem is there is no trust. Who from the Mayors circle will benefit?

We already know that all the MUSK money is going to his circle of friends down town. How do normal people get those funds?

We hear NOTHING until the funds are GIVEN away….wasted.

Cant wait to vote this in like yall voted eric in.

Until you raise the wages people get paid in Cameron County, you will not be able to get any good businesses to come into the county and do well! Do you want an arena to just sit there idle and cost taxpayers money and bring in no money to Cameron County? Just compare the wages that the Cameron County pays their employees and the wages that Hidalgo county pays their employees. Don’t know why the people who run Cameron County don’t take care of the employees that work for Cameron County. People in Cameron County will not vote for an arena because they know that it clearly will not benefit the people of Cameron County.

Brownsville state-of-the-city address
It should be the state of my pockets pinche rata, and it's juan juan not la bandeja pinche coco mamon

My family and friends will be voting No on this corrupt bullshit. I remember when county judges actually hid their corruption from the public. Now they are 100% fine with putting it all out there hiding it in plain site as long as there is an advertising campaign . Shame on you Dennis Sanchez.

Brownsville state of the city….

It should be state of MUSK funds. Where are they? Agree with 5:42.

Musk I assure you could give a flying fuck about anyone in this town. He will mingle till he gets his way. But for him to conceder all these ass-licking sons of their mother's friends. Never. I laugh at their ability to kiss ass.

The Brownsville Events center, Golf center and the Sports park get subsidized every year. They are always on the red and the taxpayers pay to keep them afloat. They all need to be, either, closed or get true leaders who have the knowledge to run them efficiently and use taxpayers monies to keep them open.

Is this all these idiotas can think of how to screw the voters? How about maintenance? Bring in companies they offer a good salary? Stop taxing the city, exclude el pinche puerto, con el mamon coco! STOP PAYING TAXES TO THE PORT THEY ARE MAKING BILLIONS AND BILLIONS. FIRE EL COCO MAMON AND STICK THAT MIKE UP HIS ASS... CAYA IDIOTA!

El Ultimo Taqueria, good name for the arena, which won't get built.
VOTE ALL THESE BOZOS OUT ALL OF THEM INCLUDING LAS BRUJAS!

Tired of commissioners who say “I’m transparent.” Your actions show us the truth.

TRANZAs “I’m transparent”.

I give ALL the musk money to my friends.

Be sure you thank me afterwards.

Juan the design of this arena is not the same one as they had in October.
All the money is going into making a big resaca.
San Benito Texas already has the resaca with there ARENA.
San Benito is smarter and better leaders.

Anonymous said...

I cant wait for it to pass. So I won’t have to drive to mcallen anymore.

If approved, you can bet that taxpayers will be subsidizing the Arena just as the city subsidizes the golf center, Events center, Sports park and the Bmetro transportation department. Bottom line is, why have them if they dont even break even.

Yeah!!!!
Tired of hearing RGV small cities Arena adds!

Puro Brownsville Arena..!!!

Les guste o no Les guste.

Brownsville will attract major sponsors
Via Elon Musk ..SpaceX..adjacent!

I vote NO! Put an HEB there instead. Brownsville is not able to sustain that kind of investment. I see ALOT of empty office space in north Brownsville and no way those are going to be filled any time soon. Narco money opens places and shuts them down. We are not in Mcallens place where they are ideally in the middle of many towns and 2 hours away from Monterrey. Just mu 2 cents

ESTUPIDO!!

They are lying to us.

Visitors: Who comes to Brownsville for fun?
Economic Impact: Who has the money to go every day to an event?
New Jobs: One person will do all the work, par timer with no benefits.
Visitor Tax: They are trying to hurt the hotels (AGAIN). No profits for them !!!

Now they are going with this election all over the COUNTY.....to pass the ARENA.

Very clever politicians.

One group of supporters has been using social media and other avenues to promote the proposed project and the Cameron County Republican Party is concerned about their process.
“In their most recent campaign finance report, which covered the time period of March 1st and Mar 28th, they reported spending and receiving no money whatsoever,” said the general counsel for the Cameron County Republican Party, Mark McCaig.
He added that after investigating the group behind the campaign, questions about the project and its transparency were raised.
“We don’t know that this arena will be able to pay for itself. I think there’s a lot of evidence out there that points to the fact that it probably won’t be. Those operating losses in all likelihood would have to be borne by the Cameron County taxpayer…I think the voters need to reject it once again,” he said.
He said that with their discoveries about the campaign and some unanswered questions, there is uncertainty about the project’s economic viability and its outcome.
