Is the sheriff contracting with apartment companies (OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS)to take care of security? We at hillbilly haven in olmito are instructed to call the sheriff for any violations. So if I see somebody throwing trash or cigarette butts or speeding inside the complex to call the sheriff, because they (apartments) no long correct these apartment infactions?

YOU have a point here. It sounds like a great idea, but.....
The city should hire more employees to keep up with the bus stops.
Also, the city employees (all staff and administrators) should volunteer to do this type of work. That will really be impressive. CEO's cleaning the bus stops, secretaries picking up trash, administrators reporting vandalism ..... Now, that will be a great thing to do for the residents of Brownsville.
The other plan: get organizations to clean on a weekly basis and in exchange you will get a certificate, a sign posted in the bus stop with your name etc. INTERESTING but not as good as the CITY doing this work and hiring more employees.
RESIDENTS OF BROWNSVILLE...please do not volunteer. You are hurting people that want a job to support their families.
Instead: go and clean the various homes around Brownsville where elderly people live...
