Bisd's infested with rats starting with the administration that's been there for years in the new ones that came in they brainwashed the board members they needed to raise taxes if not our district will be called bankruptcy Independent School District it's more about pocketing for the families
@11:52 your right, go walking door to door for votes, but these ladies can't take the heat and raised Brownsville Property Taxes for its homeowners. I bet their Superintendent would not stay if he did not get his yearly raise that has him close to 500k a year. BISD should look into all of those "ghost" employees on the payroll. Custodian chisme at the Main Office has it that all of the 3rd floor staff was moved out to portables out in the boonies where the employees come and go as they please. No supervision. Custodian was bragging that he hangs out there to relax sometimes, wink wink. Custodian also reported that 3rd floor employee is out on leave and HR has no clue this is happening. Custodian said they punch him in and out at the portables. For the so called front line worker, a minute late or out sick and HR and Principal are on your tail. Where are the auditors when you need them to protect taxpayers from cheating employees and Administrators like the two Deputies who are never in their office! Where are the Board Members, at the bar and grill?

I pass by the BISD buildings on Old Port Isabel Rd. they are always cooking outside grilling and who knows what else and that a daily thingy... NO SUPERVISION. At least invite a taxpayer for some fajitas....

When I first saw them about 10 years ago grilling at the BISD building on Old port isabel they were all flaquitos now they are all FAT!

Every one in BISD knows that the portables as offices are just a hideout for playing around. La raza comes and goes as they please and employees have like second jobs. Years ago the portables were a place to hang out because they used them as storage places for curriculum. I thought they had closed them down when I retired? Guess not. I checked with my long time secre and yes one employee lady by the Hanna portables is on the TV all day and has called forwarded to two other secrestaries. Things never change in bisd, some come and go and some never want to leave or retire. Where are the auditors.
If she's running against a gringo she's got my vote and besides she's pretty...
