The Roast House is the BEST COFFEE SHOP BROWNSVILLE, TX HAS AND THE RGV. They are a family-owned business. Friendly and delicious coffee and pastries. All the haters that are posting negative comments are scared of losing business to the best. The Roast House has the best prices in Brownsville, TX. Best quality and best prices plus awesome service. I wish them the best.
Today I was talking to a friend about the death of Queen Elizabeth and the conversation got to people that die as "celebrities" . Somehow I remembered Dr. Enrique Escobedo (former BISD board member), and I told my friend I had attended his burial because I went with a friend who was a friend of his parents. You want to talk about local celebrities? THAT burial had that. From three former mayors to judges, attorneys, people in the education business (and now in trouble with the law), including the Lucios. As yrs. passed, I WONDER how many of those people remember Mr. Escobedo. How many of those people have even bothered to visit his parents and/or say a prayer for his soul and yet, those people show up to mass on Sunday and call themselves Christians. From the world celebrity to the "local" celebrity", we all end up at the end of the road DEAD AND ALONE, and you never think it's going to happen to you, until IT HAPPENS TO YOU. "THE LION KING" WAS RIGHT. IT Is THE CYCLE OF LIFE.
