You should have someone other than Mary Helen Flores leading the petition. She is as bad as those investiagted. She is a politiquera and a loser that only wants a hand out. She is only looking for attention to get more donations. Just ask Yolanda Begum.
So what this says in the biggest story in Brownsville in over a decade, you cannot even get 300 people to sign this petition. This means you have no readers. And apparently neither does Mary Flores. 4 friends have closed their businesses because they cannot afford BPUB. Where is the outrage?. Why is Vicente Gonzalez dead silent against his fellow Democrats on this issue?

AT VETERANS FOR VETERANS
We just sent out a FOIA request to learn how many surveys the VA sent out on their local performance and how many they got back.
We are 47 strong for now and to a person trashed the survey because we knew it was a joke.
Gonzalez and Biden could not care less about veterans. They are playing the veterans and we are fighting back on social media to tell the truth. this is not about Democrat v. Republican it is about abusing veterans and then lying to get votes.

The mayor and city commissioners don't give a damn what the voters, taxpayers, citizens or residents of Brownsville do to question these idiots. Bike and hike trails number one and buying downtown building from their friends at three times the value of the building. Good idea but their ad company which they have had for 200 years, same as charro days, will not allow it they also do the county and the city and BISD and the port and all boards. No bids no where! Why because they are gringos and they are exempt from all requirements, its like that historical designation thingy...

Some of The city commission are definitely involved with this fking mess especially the commissioners Gowen,Cowen,Mayor Mendez,Jessica T.and Galonsky.These idiots have known about this for a long time and did NOTHING.They love those PUB perks I bet. Please don't start playing dumb with us now, you all ran your campaigns with this concern. Gowen is the worst been there since the beginning of Tenaska never asked a relevant question and she's ex Mayor Martinez buddy.What good are you being a doctor with all education and still play stupid.feel sorry for your clients
City commissioners & Mayor stop making excuses and pointing fingers and take responsibility for this outrageous fraud. The correct and fair thing to do is to reimburse the ratepayers let's say, 20% discount on their monthly Bill's for ten years. BPUB customers were ripped off, time to payback.
Stopping the electicity from being used or cut off during the freeze in some areas, caused serious health issues to some of the citizens here and some even died because of this action, but never got to the court system. I should have...
If its true that selective turn-off of electricity was made and it comes out with this report, court actions should than be started by those folks that lost a dear one or that got seriously hurt by this action.

Let's name all past and present city commissioners and PUB board members that were in office when all this fiasco occurred. Were they all that stupid to not ask questions or did they serve themselves? Do all board members have PUB as their utilities server and do some live outside city limits? All these recycled boards and committees who supposedly want to make Brownsville better are only serving themselves. Let's not blame their decisions based on not being educated , because some are doctors, lawyers and do have college education and have years in banking. We are not more than you, but we are not less than you.
BPUB, City , County, Port, appointed boards, is stealing money from your community worth the shame you have brought to you and your families? God may forgive with confession, but the community you stole from may not. Some of you got rich from food stamps, BPUB and medicaid.
The citizens should have the right to choose any electric company here in brownville. We should NOT be forced to do business with a corrupt company. We the citizens should sue the city to change these requirement its unconstitutional. WHERE'S THE D.A.?

She got rich from Medicaid patients, Lopez from Food stamps, Trevino from consulting for a Ghost Plant and the rest of you are not in it for insider information to gain properties cheaply. Some got rich from Musk monies, selling personal asbestos buildings to the city that weren't worth 2 peanuts. Use your education to help and not steal. Stop abusing our community and stop passing the baton to family members if a term wasn't completed.
Why is the city commission not suspending the ceo at bpub? He should be suspended immediately there is proof that he committed a crime HE SHOULD BE SUSPENDED NOW!!!
