Why would anyone vote for someone who lies about her past, lies about a "Stolen Election," lies about Antifa fomenting the Jan. 6 QAnon-incited insurrection on the nation's Capitol, calls Democrats "traitors" and labels President Joe Biden a "criminal?" Mayra Flores, at U.S. District 34, is either a gullible candidate who has fallen under the Trumptian spell, or a willing opportunist who mouths the reactionary far-right doctrines that are ripping our country apart for financial support for her candidacy. I have yet to learn about the prominent people in the Valley who come from Burgos. I guess they are not proud of their heritage either.
