Finally, a Commissioner calling out the BPUB scandal and also wanting to remove conflict of interest Board Member Saenz but could not do it because Galonsky loves Saenz and cares more about Saenz money than the city of Brownsville citizens. Nurith Galonsky of Southmost has money and claims she is for the people of Southmost. But when it matters, she will side with corruption and friends first and will not hold anyone accountable.
I like De Los Santos he seems cool. Gay people are nice and cool, respectful, kind, obedient, helpful, responsible, hard working, happy, warming, the list can go on and on and on. We are so lucky to have him as a commissioner.
What happened to our other so called leaders on the city commission Gowen, Galonsky, Cowen, Juan Mendez these people are worthless as leaders for majority in Brownsville. These politicians moral compass is so broken the PUB scam and the way they handled it shows what they are about.Do not vote for non of these asswipes anymore. When I see them smile it's an Evil smile of GREED!

Nothing is going to come about on the money stolen by BPUB. The people involved did not become crooks over night. They have been working hard at it all their lives. Many of them receiving extensive training from close family members. Another scheme in the making is the resaca fee that just increased this month from $4.50 to $6.50. Maybe these same crooks are going to use the money from the resaca fees to pay for their attorneys. We just got shafted and they're getting ready to shaft us again. This town has always been and will continue to be a shit hole thanks to all of the corrupt politicians.

One thing that was shady of one of the commissioners is that he put on a dog and pony show, by interviewing community members who wanted to be a part of a committee review to further dig on BPUB, while maybe knowingly had someone already in mind? His choice turned out to be a friend/law partner of one of the participants of the BPUB mess.(WOW!!!) I don't care if they are gay, heterosexual, divorced, married, highly educated, broke up a marriage, white or blue collar worker. What matters is that who represents us does not cheat their community, doesn't lie, isn't a rat, doesn't look the other way when they see that something is wrong and won't tag team to make all this wheeling and dealing BS to serve their self interest.
