According to American Gun Facts there are approximately 400 million guns in the United States. 98% are in civilian hands. So if guns kill, where are the 392 million deaths? We need to step away from looking at guns as the culprit and look at prevention. Why aren’t more metal detectors being installed in businesses, schools, churches, bars and restaurants etc. Why aren’t we taking serious red flags? Why aren’t we looking at possible random check of vehicles and people? Maybe some of these options mentioned are too expensive, time consuming and controversial. So we continue to focus on the gun and the killings continue.
