This guy has No business being Sheriff....no experience, no leadership skills, and most importantly NO BALLS!! This is prime example complete incompotent law enforcement!! The Sheriff's office has had its problems in the past with the Cantu admisitration but they were compotent enough to not lose the inmate federal contract and cost the county millions, Nor did any of the prior admistrations lose so many people because of loss of confidence or bad supervision like Eric's "so called" administration. Right now its an embarassment to work, wear the uniform or be affiliated with the sheriffs office. When interacting with other departments, be police departments or nighboring sheriff office's, Cameron County Sheriff Office is a joke and a laughing stock because of this guy. Being a LEO myself and have the pleasure of working for the past admistrations there was always honor, Integrity and pride when you would slap that uniform on, but now...its a damm joke. The community is tired, the Sheriff office staff is tired and my brothers in blue are tired, the BS needs to stop already. No more sugar coating the situation we need this administation out to bring back the integrity to the Sheriffs Office that it so deserves.
