DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE AT SILVA FAMILY'S ROAST HOUSE

The newest mural addition to downtown Brownsville is artist Leroy Castro's fanciful version of Lewis Carroll's rabbit hole in his Alice In Wonderland-theme work painted on the all of the Roast House, 1254 E. Washington St. Castro collaborated with Roast House owners and UTRGV graduates Ezequiel and Esmeralda Silva, all in their mid-20s, who believe in promoting small businesses and local talent. This is Castro's first big mural and he asked them for the opportunity to prove his skills. Visit The Roast House and sample the fresh brewed 100 percent Arabica beans and escape reality with every sip. At a recent trip to the Silvas' roast house, many customers were seen taking the opportunity to take selfies.

"The crowd began to thin": domestic terrorist Donald Trump's Waco rally crowd started filing out after just "30 minutes"

Thousands turned out for Trump's campaign rally but some did not stay very long. Some said they'd heard enough.

BobbyWC is still the ONLY commenter on Barton's blog. 1 boring comment under an even more-boring story.

If people don't get dizzy with the drinks, they will with these paintings you have to stare into at this place. I remember when we used to get spanked for defacing the sidewalks with chalk to draw our "bebelech." Now all the walls
downtown are covered with so-called art.
