WHY NO FUSS ABOUT 3 AMERICAN WOMEN MISSING IN MEXICO?

Associated Press

PEÑITAS, Texas (AP) — Two sisters from Texas and a friend are missing in Mexico after they crossed the border last month to sell clothes at a flea market, U.S. authorities said Friday.

The abduction of four Americans in Mexico that was caught on video last week received an avalanche of attention and was resolved in a matter of days. But the fate of the three women, who haven’t been heard from in about two weeks, remains a mystery and has garnered relatively little publicity.

The FBI said Friday it is aware that two sisters from Peñitas, a small border city in Texas near McAllen, and their friend have gone missing. Peñitas Police Chief Roel Bermea said their families have been in touch with Mexican authorities, who are investigating their disappearance.

Beyond that, officials in the U.S. and Mexico haven’t said much about their pursuit of Maritza Trinidad Perez Rios, 47; Marina Perez Rios, 48; and their friend, Dora Alicia Cervantes Saenz, 53.

The episode stands in stark contrast to the government and media frenzy over the abduction of fur Americans on a road trip to Mexico for plastic surgery. They were caught in a drug cartel shootout in the border city of Matamoros, and video showed them being hauled off in a pickup truck. The two survivors were found Tuesday in a wooden shack near the Gulf coast.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says the three women crossed into Mexico on Feb. 24, a Friday, according to Bermea. Peñitas is just a few hundred feet from the Rio Grande River.

The husband of one of the women spoke to her by phone while she was traveling in Mexico, the police chief said, but grew concerned when he couldn’t reach her afterward.

“Since he couldn’t make contact over that weekend, he came in that Monday and reported it to us,” Bermea said. The three women haven’t been heard from since.

Bermea said the women were traveling in a green mid-1990s Chevy Silverado to a flea market in the city of Montemorelos, in Nuevo Leon state. It’s about a three-hour drive from the border. Officials at the state prosecutor’s office said they have been investigating the women’s disappearance since Monday.

This week’s massive search for the four kidnapped Americans involved squads of Mexican soldiers and National Guard troops. But for most of the 112,000 Mexicans missing nationwide, the only ones looking for them are their desperate relatives.

Authorities also lack manpower, equipment and training – things are so bad that authorities aren’t even able to identify tens of thousands of bodies that have been found.

Simple: Because they are MEXICAN-American

and some MEXICAN-Americans have close ties to relatives/friends/movidas in Mexico, so you never, ever know if it's a kidnapping or an abused wife simply leaving her Old Man.

Three of them doing it for that same reason would be a story, tho.

Likelihood: They were captured, raped, killed and buried.

Since when do women travel to Mexico to work in a flea market? I can understand the women putting up a stand in a USA flea market and going to Mexico to spend their money but not the other way around. Just what did they sell over there?

Don't get me wrong their disappearance is still tragic but their actions smell fishy to me.

@8:09 AM

Your wife's old pussy smells "fishy" to me, idiot!

People (both Mexican nationals and Mexican-Americans) do a lively trade buying stuff in the RGV for re-sale in the interior of Mexico. Been going on for years. The flea market thing may be new, tho. Sellers find a market and they tend to service it, baboso!!!

Go wash your asshole. You're stinking up this Blog.

Maybe the judge had to pay the blogger for removal of the "unofficial" infraction which much cheaper than paying off a crooked cop or tow-truck fees along with the public shame and ridicule. I hope she paid dearly.

Here is proof, for the innocent, that we do not need to go to the Appalachian Mountains to get killed or eaten. We have in breeding too. Sad but true. Long live the human race.

Selling in Mexico is very dangerous. Unless, they went to a colonia and sold to their regular shoppers...to make ten dollars.

To sell in the public places...that is controlled by the gangs, the government, the "jefe" or "jefa". Maybe the competition were jealous of them with their American merchandise.
American Make up
American shoes
American clothes.

The 5 "guilty" guys were not charged with kidnapping because no ransom was solicited they were not charged with murder because no one stepped forward to identify them or press charges instead they were charged with deprivation of liberty or some shut like unlawful restraint and will fave less than 7 years in jail no weapon charges and no RICO charges
Wow
What a shame
