This happened before. The jail has to be run by the book. They need a person that is always checking that all rules are being followed by staff. They have to look under, above, on the side, in front, behind every thing and everybody. Also, look inside the minds of the prisoners and staff.

Luis was hoping the cameron county folks had already forgotten that. I believe the County paid some hush money ($80k-$100k taxpayers funds) to settle this lawsuit sounds to me like a Trump and stormy Daniels kind of thing. just saying.

He would've been the laughing stock there. That meeting was for real Sheriff's, and real law enforcement officers. Not for Deputy Doofy.
More lawsuits were filed during the Lucio and Reynas administration. Payouts were overwhelming. So much irregularities and improprities occurred yet the County Judge still backed them up. Current pay issues is about County Judge Eddie Treviño playing politics with his own employees and constituents.
